Question 1 of 4

300 words

What would you like to do?

We want to expand our free weekly football sessions to the Bristol Road estate and add a girls-only session. A taster session in March brought together 22 young people, showing clear local interest before the project begins.

The funding would cover coaching, pitch hire and travel. We would start with one session each week and add a second only if demand continues.

Experience behind CIC Tools

Built by a founder running a real CIC

I co-founded Homeless Aid UK CIC, which coordinates more than 300 volunteers and supports more than 4,000 people each month across the North West.

Years spent dealing with formation, policies, funding and day-to-day governance shaped the questions, documents and practical guidance inside CIC Tools.

Now I've built that knowledge into CIC Tools, so you can use it too.

Questions before you start

Clear answers, before you commit

What do I get for £50?

You get your completed CIC36 and Articles of Association plus six tailored core policies. You can complete the formation wizard before deciding whether to pay. AI-assisted generation is available for 12 months, and your completed outputs remain yours.

How does submission to Companies House work?

CIC Tools prepares the documents for you to download. You then upload the CIC36 and Articles as part of the online Companies House application. You stay in control of the submission and receive the decision directly.

Is the £115 Companies House fee included?

No. CIC Tools costs £50 and Companies House charges its £115 online filing fee separately when you submit, making the normal total £165.

What is free in Grant Coach?

You can describe your project, answer focused interview questions and read a complete first Awards for All answer on screen without entering card details. Creating a free account keeps that work so you can continue.

Are the policies included with formation?

Yes. The £50 formation pack includes six tailored core policies. If your CIC is already registered, the standalone Policy Pack is £30 one-off.

Can I use AI for an Awards for All application?

Yes. The National Lottery Community Fund allows AI tools, but you remain responsible for making sure the application is accurate and genuinely reflects your organisation and project. Read the funder's AI guidance.
